Electric Bike Events Around The Country

The Electric Bike Association is excited to promote important exhibitions, events, and presentations being offered by our members around the country. Check back regularly to see what is happening in your region of the country.

IMPORTANT Announcement: Miami Beach Event

As we all watch Irma hit Florida, our thoughts and prayers go out to the residents as the storm surge hits both coasts. We are monitoring the situation and we have staff on the ground who will be out at Haulover Park to assess the damage and clean-up efforts immediately following the storm as it heads north.

Besides the overall safety, our biggest concern will be the availability of the equipment we use to produce the events from our vendors. Temporary fencing, portable power generators, and event tents could be held up for state emergency issues during the cleanup.

We will be posting updates to all our sponsors, exhibitors and followers in the next few days. Keep your fingers crossed that everyone gets through this safely.

IMPORTANT Announcement: Portland Event Canceled

The Portland Electric Bike Expo scheduled for August 18-20, 2017 has unfortunately been canceled. The challenge is the size and scope of the Solar Eclipse festivities that are creating issues for event equipment suppliers, hotel accommodations and overall access to the locals who are being warned about the volume of visitors coming to the region.

An estimated 1.2 to 1.5 million enthusiasts will be making their way to both Portland and the Salem area as this is one of the country’s premium viewing spot for the total eclipse.
Even working with our existing national vendors, we were unable to secure the necessary structures and hospitality components to build the event.
The exhibitor and sponsor committee has confirmed that we will put the Portland event into the 2018 schedule and planning will start in the next month to outline the details. We are sorry to disappoint so many electric bike enthusiasts that had planned to travel to the Expo from as far away as Idaho. We do promise to return!
