An Association For The People

Bringing the experience of electric pedal-assist cycling to the new enthusiasts around the country

The member-based Electric Bike Association is focused on three critical objectives:

  1. The education of the general consumer on what a legitimate electric power-assist bicycle is and what it can provide in terms of recreational enjoyment, commuting and select commercial opportunities
  2. The education of bicycle retailers on the marketing of eBikes into the consumer marketplace as well as practical technical details to be able to service and support today’s leading brands and systems
  3. Becoming a general repository of effective advocacy and legislative solutions that can be duplicated, modified, or based on for the growth of common legalization of legitimate electric power-assist bicycles into all 50 states

The Electric Bike Association is a member-based non-profit corporation designed to be the industry voice to the consumer for the legitimate electric power-assist bicycle.

Using pooled resources from the membership base, the Electric Bike Association will produce and deliver experiential marketing consumer events (Electric Bike Events), national display ad campaigns, and educational initiatives that help all levels of retailers understand the value of the eBike market and how to best reach the local consumer.

Working in conjunction with the leading B2B and advocacy industry associations, the Electric Bike Association will help to convert the trade speak into consumer messaging and become a public portal where business and legislative leaders can access papers, articles, legislative bills and market research to aid in the development of common laws and regulations for the legitimate use of eBikes throughout the country.

Women riders make up an important segment of the recreational bike riding community. As much as 30% of our Expo attendees are women and their opinions help drive the conversation about everything from design, size, features and sales techniques.
